Regulation 4(2) of the House of Assembly (Elections) Regulations gives the Chief Elections Officer, once satisfied, the authority to recognise a political that has applied for a party symbol to be used by the party and official candidates of the party, in each constituency and shall be entitled to have the party symbol opposite his name.
The following symbols have been allocated to the political parties recognised by the Chief Elections Officer.
