GIRAUDEL/EGGLESTON VILLAGE COUNCIL

GENERAL ELECTION RESULTS

The general public, particularly residents of Giraudel and Eggleston are informed that on Monday, April 15, 2024 the under-mentioned candidates were elected to the Giraudel/Eggleston Village Council: -

1. Mervin Alexander  -     73 votes
2. Tyra Thomas       -      68 votes
3. Mary Benjamin    -        65 votes
4. Iton Dorival         -        61 votes
5. Roy Ashworth Williams    -    57 votes            

The other candidates received votes as follows: -

1. Yolande Letang -    56 votes
2. Euthelie Pierre -      52 votes
3. James Chaseau -     44 votes
4. Tessa Thomas    -    34 votes
5. Curlysia Walsh -    33 votes

144 or 16.23% of the electorate voted, of which 71 or 49.31% were male and 73 or 50.69% were female.

There were ten (10) rejected ballots.
