The general public is informed that pursuant to Section 12(1) of the House of Assembly Elections Act, Chap2:01 of the Revised Laws of Dominica, 1990 Edition, His Excellency The President has issued a Writ for the Election of a member of the House of Assembly for the Soufriere Constituency.
The date fixed to receive the nomination of candidates is Friday, May 20, 2016 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Soufriere Police Station.
Polling day has been fixed for Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
