The general public is informed that the Preliminary Register of Electors for 2014 will be published on September 30, 2014.
Persons who qualify and are desirous of having their names included in the register, are to make their claim for registration to the Assistant Registering Officer in the Polling District of residence.
Claims must be in the prescribed form and in the claimant’s own handwriting. Where the claimant is unable to write, the form MUST be filled in the handwriting of the Witness.
Persons seeking changes of name, occupation, address within the Constituency or from one Constituency to another, or corrections to name, address or occupation are to submit their application in the prescribed form to the Assistant Registering Officer in the Polling District of residence.
All forms are obtainable from the Registering Officers for the Constituencies or the Assistant Registering Officers in the Polling Districts and must be submitted by Friday, September 12, 2014 for inclusion on the register.
The Electoral Office appeals to the public, that they must co-operate with the Registration Officers with regards to suitable times, for making their applications.
